More good news for South African hydrocarbon exploration

Africa New Energies CEO, Stephen Larkin, weighed in on the tremendous Luiperd discovery by Total in South African waters.

He told @CapeTalk that the find has delivered an 11th hour life-line to Mossgas. Stephen’s calculations point to a potential supply of 8% of the crude oil South Africa imports… those imports cost the economy about R200 billion per year.
It’s immensely positive news for Southern African hydrocarbon exploration.
